Sara Claire & Esther unveils
their premiere line of “Vintage
Reimagined” garments for
the Spring 2009 Season. Each collection
embodies the character and elegance
of Sara Claire Peacock and Esther
Wolk, grandmothers of southern
designers Sara Jordan and
Aimee Wolk.
Aimee and Sara recreate a time
period or important event in the
lives of these incredible women
and use this inspiration each
season. Sara Claire’s fancy
for anything feminine and romantic
combined with Esther’s elegant
and daring style is the perfect
combination for the SC&E lady.
These collections feature recycled
fabrics or trim personally handpicked
out of thrift stores and taken
from vintage garments. This concept
paired with surprise details,
such as authentic vintage buttons,
assures our clientele no two pieces
will be exactly alike.
Sara Claire believes in the reduce,
reuse, recycle philosophy and
incorporates this into every garment
they produce. This Spring 2009
collection present men’s
oxford shirting that was handpicked
from the Salvation Army and Goodwill
and cut up to recreate, and
re-make our gorgeous collection.
